Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake

Kristin’s Kitchen is a new blog column I’ll posting sporadically about the foods (but mostly desserts) I bake with the help of my KitchenAid mixer.  My first baking adventure is VERY decadent.  It’s a no bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake and I got the recipe from Life Love and Sugar.  The cheesecake was a huge hit among my Settlers of Catan group but there was only so much we could eat at once because it’s REALLY filling.

Overall, it was a simple recipe to follow and I’m absolutely pleased with the results.  I would definitely bake this cheesecake again.

As you may notice, the cheesecake is topped with chocolate syrup and chopped mini Reese’s peanut butter cups.  The crust is made from Oreo’s and the middle of the cake is full of cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter.  All that’s required to enjoy the cake is time because you have to let it sit in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours before serving.

    Oh my…that looks heavenly! My family would love this! We used to get a pie with Reeses on it years ago, but that place went out of business. I will have to try this!
