March Small Goals

I used to always post my monthly small goals on my blog but I’ve since transitioned to using my bullet journal.  I wanted to change things up for March and share my goals here because if I’m being completely honest with myself, I did not accomplish much in February.  It’s not necessarily a bad thing because sometimes you just need a break, but after tackling and completing so many big projects in January, I didn’t have many big goals for February.  I want to refocus and get back into the swing of productivity in March so I thought I would share my goals here to hold myself accountable.

Reading my goals over, I just realized that I have three Star Wars related goals on my list! Andrew and I are deep into Star Wars Rebels which I’m loving with my whole heart and one of my goals is to finish the last two seasons of the series (though at the rate we’re watching, I wouldn’t be surprised if we finish before March even starts!).  I also want to catch up on my favorite Star Wars podcast, Lattes With Leia.  I’ll finally be able to listen to the rest of the Star Wars Rebels episode once we finish the show.  I’ve mainly fallen behind on recent episodes since I don’t have much of a commute anymore but I started bullet journaling and listening to podcasts in the morning before work.  I spent February catching up on my friend Gillian’s podcast The Geeky Rose Shots (which I recommend checking out! Gil knows just about everything about film and actors / directors, etc- and she also just had a Star Wars episode!).  My final Star Wars goal is to film a video that I’ve been promising for a long time, all about reading the Star Wars canon novels in chronological order. I’m thinking of posting it on May 4th :-)

Alexa and I are hosting a manga and anime themed readathon / watchathon during the first four days of March called OtakuAThon and I’ve been trying so hard to hold off on reading my manga TBR until then but let me tell you, the temptation is real. I also have a blogging series idea that I came up recently which I want to complete in March as well as making story highlight covers in Photoshop for instagram stories.  Lastly, I want to get back to habit tracking (I slacked majorly in Feb) and get rid of all the clothing and book donations I have laying around our apartment (a result of the one productive project I completed in February).

Love this post! I’ve stopped setting monthly goals but I guess I have one for March: watch all the Hobbit and LOTR movies before Tolkien Reading Day. I’m not going to do an actual marathon because it would be too tiring, but it’s been a while since the last time I’ve watched all the movies.

I love the idea of small monthly goals! Those seem way more achievable than doing a yearly resolution (though I like those too). I also want to say that I think OtakuAThon is the best idea we’ve ever come up with as a collab and I can’t wait for more rounds in the future!
